The styling of the Sony 1000XM3 has changed a little bit. At a glance, the first thing you will notice is the embossed Sony logo is now slightly embellished with a rose gold. Also, Sony has highlighted the external mics with the same gold finish. You can’t buy a better pair of wireless, noise-canceling headphones. You can get a pair of headphones that will sound different, but in this class of cans, the Sony WH-1000XM3 are the best.

Glad to see another happy owner:) These things really are awesome. Ive had mine about a month now and have used them everywhere from outdoors, office, walking, etc. Theyre basically my go to out of the house headphone. I still use my Tenmak Pro IEM's for the gym, but I really dont find IEM's all that comfortable. Some people may think Im crazy, but I used mine the other day to mow the lawn lol.
The noise cancelling reduces my mower and trimmer engine noise by prob 95% its absolutely insane. With the music turned up just a bit you dont even hear it. Hell a couple of times I had to use the hand over ear 'awareness' function to even make sure the mower was still running lol. Anyways, even with a little bit of grass and sweat on them, they cleaned up easy with a damp paper towel and are still like new:) I can def say I found a new awesome use for them.
Okay so so far my use of these has been amazing!!! Im fairly a noob to how good headphones are so please be gentle. I mainly got these for daily use at college, drowning out annoying people has definitely been easier since then. The noise cancellation works great, the last set of cans I used that had NC were the Bose QC25, and these are definitely better (but to be fair I had more time to spend with these).
They came with a carry case that is light and easy to carry around, as a bonus it clips on to my bag for when I go to class. It also came with a wire that I have yet to use since I got this pair for Bluetooth and haven't really needed to use it.
The sound is pretty rock solid, the bass is pretty good and will often make the inside of the headphones vibrate a bit, no issue with mids or highs as they go along pretty well, being Sony headphones I figured that wouldnt be a problem. In terms of comfort.
Im not blaming Sony since this is the way its made. My city is extremely hot with temperatures going over 40 degrees. I can wear it for an hour before needing to take it off. The only issue Ive had is that when its around my neck it can be a bit uncomfortable as i cant really move my neck. Overall my experience has been pretty amazing. I understand that in order to listen to high fidelity tracks I'll need to get it wired and I dont really need that since I have an pair of 598's for that. If I do I'll be sure to update you guys.
